Shipping policy

These terms and conditions apply to all orders unless otherwise agreed upon.

General Information about the Online Store

Lypsy.fi is an online store operated by Lypsy Oy with business ID 2870557-1. We sell products to adult private individuals in Finland. The prices of the products include value-added tax. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs.

Ordering

Products are ordered via the internet at www.lypsy.fi. All orders are confirmed by email, specifying the price of the order, shipping costs, and the ordered products. Providing an email address is necessary to receive the order confirmation. Failure to receive confirmation means that the order has not been registered in our system. In this case, please contact our customer service immediately: info@lypsy.fi. By placing an order, the customer agrees to the current delivery terms.

Delivery Methods

Home Delivery (Direct to the Farm)

When selecting Home Delivery, the customer will receive the product at their specified address via urgent delivery. Some products (depending on weight) can also be picked up from a post office or Matkahuolto service point.

Posti (Finnish Postal Service)

When selecting Posti, the customer will receive the product at their specified address via mail.

Matkahuolto

When selecting Matkahuolto, the customer will receive the product at their specified address via Oy Matkahuolto Ab's delivery service.

Pickup

When selecting Pickup, the customer can collect their order from the Kärsämäki pickup warehouse at Jylhänperäntie 239, 86710 Kärsämäki.

Transportation for Chemicals

Products requiring separate chemical transportation will be mentioned on their respective product pages. They will be delivered to a Matkahuolto service point.

Delivery Time

The delivery time for products is generally 1-2 business days. We aim to dispatch products in stock on the same day (if the order is placed before 3 p.m.). For pickup orders, the customer will be notified via email or phone regarding when the product is available for pickup. You can inquire about the current delivery time of your desired product before ordering from our customer service: info@lypsy.fi.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs include postage and packaging fees. You can view shipping costs after selecting the payment and delivery method in your shopping cart.

Force Majeure

Lypsy Oy is not obligated to fulfill a contract if a natural disaster, fire, strike, lockout, war, mobilization, traffic disturbance, or any other such event prevents the delivery of the product. Lypsy Oy is not liable for damages caused by force majeure resulting in non-fulfillment of the contract or delayed delivery to the customer.

Payment Methods

Checkout payment service facilitates payments to the merchant. If your bank statement or credit card bill shows Checkout Finland Oy, we have facilitated your payment. Checkout is a secure payment method for you. We are licensed by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. The service is maintained by Checkout Finland Oy (business ID 2196606-6), which is part of the OP Group.

Bank Payments

You can use the payment buttons of all Finnish banks. You can pay with the payment buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Savings Bank, S Bank, and Ålandsbanken. Checkout Finland Oy appears as the payee on your bank statement, and we forward your payment to the online merchant. From the online store, you will be directed straight to your own bank to make the payment securely.

Credit Card Payments

You can pay with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and Debit MasterCard cards in the online store. International Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services are available in the online store. Checkout appears as the payee on the credit card statement and forwards the payment made by the customer directly to the merchant. Card payments are processed securely on a protected payment form, and payment card details are not stored in the online store's systems.

Payment by Invoice

Corporate customers have the option to purchase products on invoice.

Exchange and Return Policy

Customers have a 14-day exchange and return right according to Finnish consumer protection law. The right of return applies only to unused and saleable products in their original packaging. The returned product must be unused, in a condition equivalent to the original, and saleable. The sales packaging must also be suitable for resale. If the product is not suitable for resale, we will reimburse 50-80% of the product price on a case-by-case basis. 

Please include the following information with your return/exchange:

Your customer number, name, address, and phone number
Your bank account number
and a copy of the order confirmation from Lypsy Oy.

We do not accept returns more than 14 days after delivery. Once the return is approved, the refund will be made directly to your account after receiving and processing the return.

Issues with Transportation and Defective Products

A consignment note or dispatch note accompanies the delivery. The customer must ensure that the contents of the delivery match the consignment note/dispatch note and are undamaged. If a product is lost during transportation, damaged, or if the wrong product is delivered, the customer must immediately notify us at info@lypsy.fi. Notification of an incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days of receiving the product.

Other

We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. Customers must familiarize themselves with the current delivery terms before placing an order.

Lypsy Oy

  • Handles all customer data with complete confidentiality.
  • Commits not to disclose customer information to third parties.
  • Is not liable for direct or indirect damages caused by the product.
